Min Myar is an award-winning artist whose work hands in many public and private collections throughout the world. A member of the National Association of Women Artists, The National Collage Society and The National League of American Pen Women, she exhibits regularly in local and regional galleries. "My favorite way to paint is 'on location'. There, I am inspired by the beautiful subjects I see. Capturing shapes, form, design and color helps me to achieve the artist composition I am seeking. When I'm completely satisfied, my imagination takes over. I embellish reality and reach the total freedom to create either realistic or abstract forms. The following teachers have been an inspiration and have left an indelible print on my heart; Marion Brown, Jean Koroluck, Al Narizzano and Louise Cadillac." |
